i modified the code in the bookmarklet from wordpress.com but i can’t figure out how to set up the default as a link. would love to be able to push a button in my browser and pull the url and other elements into a draft post interface so I could post with a blockquote/pullquote and a direct link to original source.

This is CSV to database plugin is also cool, and may need to investigate further how to import data into the wordpress database from a csv for the election tool. If we can build the spreadsheets to respect the data model for profiles then we may be able to insert them in bulk instead of one by one in the options panel
